Description:

Shown here on its only known form, a platter, are the Arms of Delaware.   Preceded by three other designs, this version of the seal of Delaware was adopted in 1847.   It shows an escutcheon with an Ox in the lower division and a bundle of leaf tobacco, and sheaf of wheat in the upper portion.   Supporters are a hunter at right and a mariner at left who holds the crest, a full rigged ship.
