This is #2  of three views of Harvard College by Stevenson & Williams.  It is a close-up of University Hall with a horse and rider passing in front. Version #1 in this exhibit shows Stoughton and Hollis Halls, just to the right of University Hall.  The marks on each of these versions are the same.  University Hall was built in 1815 of white granite. This view shows  the spire of the old Christ Church, built in 1761, in the background.
